As of 1 July 2012 when giving consultations that include a purchase recommendation on investment funds, financial services providers are obliged to provide you with a corresponding Key Investor Information Document (KIID) before the relevant transaction is executed. The KIID includes inter alia a short description of its investment objectives and investment policy – as well as the risk/reward profile of the investment, including appropriate guidance and warnings in relation to the risks associated with investments in the relevant UCITS. In the judgement of the legislator, you should take note of it before you make your investment decision.
